It’s Go Time!
What a week!!! I finished my poster Monday morning just in
time to get it sent off to the printer. The rest of the week was spent getting
ready for the ASU West Symposium and then the Arizona Nevada Academy of Science
Conference. I am so glad that Dr. Cotter recommended going to the earlier
poster session to get practice answering questions from the judges. It was
definitely intimidating but great practice. I feel like the ASU West Symposium
was great practice for the ANAS Conference. Next up is a five hour long drive
to Nevada and a long night of squeezing in some homework, but it’s totally
worth it!

Glad you've gotten the practice you need from the ASU Symposium to prepare for the conference later. I'm certain you'll do great at the ANAS conference too! I'm impressed with out your poster turned out appearance and content wise! Wish David and I could've seen you present. Maybe next time!
ReplyDeleteSammy, my poster buddy! Your poster looked great, I love the touch of the picture of the water pouring. It was nice having your poster next to mine during the ASU Symposium because I got to have a familiar face nearby. It looked like last week was a whirlwind of events for you, I am glad that you were able to attend the ANAS conference. Let me know how that went!
ReplyDeleteYour poster looks great! You are sure getting a lot of practice and exposure in your poster! That is good, it helps you become comfortable among judges. I am sure you did great at the ANAS conference. Your research deserves some recognition, I've seen how you are working and you are very dedicated it is great! Good Job!
